Over the years, the Band continued to thrive, surviving both world wars when many players were called away to join the forces. During the 1970s, the Band moved away from the church and changed its name to Ramsbury Silver Band.	In concert at Collingbourne Kingston
	The Band at a local fête	As an independant group, the Band has expanded its repertory and has become well known for entertaining performances at fêtes, shows and carnivals throughout the region. Over the past twenty years, the Band has also made a name by winning many prizes at competitions both in Wiltshire and further afield. 	If you are interested in learning to play an instrument, or would like to rekindle long-lost skills, please give us a call and open a gateway to a lifetime of fun and personal achievement. Ramsbury Silver Band has been the training ground for many of the region's finest musicians. Some have moved on but many have stayed to pass on their talents through the Band's long-established training band. The Training Band meets at 6.45 - 7.30 pm each Wednesday from September to July.
